The IOMG Masters Surf Titles (click for latest age and division info) will be held at Geraldton's prime surfing locations on a totally mobile basis. Ages commence at 30 years up to over 55 with male and female divisions.
To view the age divisions click here - ages are taken as at 1/01/2005!
The IOMG Masters Surf Titles will also have long board divisions - the long board events will be held at locations ideal for long board surfing.
Your host for the event will be Geraldton Board Riders Club. The club has a long history of running surfing events and is highly regarded throughout Western Australia. In 2000 GBR was awarded the Surfing Australia Tracks Hall of Fame Award for number one club in Australia. Click here for more info.
Over the next few weeks we will provide you with photos and information on likely venues for the events. The water is around 23 degrees celcius in May and the air temperature averages around 28 degrees.
You can plan your trip to continue up the coast and visit the world class surfing locations like Jakes Point in Kalbarri, Gnaraloo and Red Bluff north of Carnarvon and Yardie Creek near Exmouth or head down to the Margaret River region to get a taste of the power of the South West waves.
There will be plenty of night life to enjoy with the IOMG committee organising great entertainment every night during the Games including the opening and closing ceremony festivities.
Masters events have the reputation of being friendly and full of good times. We want to see you here to enjoy our great beaches and hospitality.
Keep visiting this page as we provide more information about the IOMG Masters Surf Titles and make sure you register on-line as soon as possible as there will be a cut-off limit for each division.
